| A big star in his
native Germany, where he has been acting since
the age of 12, Maximilian Befort is set to make
a huge splash in the UK and beyond.
“We auditioned a lot of guys for the part of
Guido”, says director Graham Cantwell, “but Max
stood out by a mile."
"He’s incredibly handsome, and a phenomenal
actor, but he also has a cheeky side, a twinkle
in his eye that suited the part perfectly.”
“Guido is a very funny character like all the
characters in the film”, says Max, “He’s
Italian, quite sophisticated and weird. Yeah,
I’m a weirdo, definitely.”
Graham was drawn to Max’s sense of exploration.
| “He has an innate
ability to find comedy in the smallest moments.
He is forever ad-libbing and bringing something
extra to his scenes. He’s probably got the most
unscripted dialogue in the entire film!”
For his part Max really enjoyed working on the
film, “Its great, really nice, the team is
amazing, its always a great atmosphere, we’re
always having a big laugh. The film itself is a
very funny look inside the film industry, I
really hope audiences enjoy it.”
